Pamela Sue Patterson passed away Thursday May 16, 2024, at her home in Sublette, Kansas. She was born November 29, 1960 in Coffeyville, Kansas; the daughter of Arthur Leroy and Georgia Merle (Reed) Wade.
Pam graduated from Sedan High School in 1978 and married Dean Quentin Patterson June 18, 1983 in Peru, Kansas. The two relocated to Western Kansas in 1984 where they planted their roots and raised their two sons. Pam worked as a paraprofessional at Sublette Elementary School for many years until her retirement in 2018. Following her retirement, she dedicated her time to being a full-time Grammy to her four grandchildren.
She enjoyed traveling to Colorado, cooking and baking for her loved ones, gardening, trips to the zoo with her grandchildren, and she never turned down chocolate or a diet coke from Sonic! She was a kind, caring, and loving individual, known for being a devoted wife, mother, and grandmother and will be sorely missed by all who knew her.
Pam is survived by her husband, Dean Patterson of the Home; sons, Matt & Kelci Patterson of Ottawa, Kansas, and Adam & Carley Patterson of Garden City, Kansas; brothers, Art & Susie Wade of Peru, Kansas, Jerry & Sharon Wade of Ramona, Oklahoma, John & Dee Wade of Peru, Kansas, and Michael Wade of Ulysses, Kansas; and grandchildren, Kemper Patterson, Harper Patterson, Lane Jay Patterson, & Wesley Dean Patterson. She was preceded in death by her parents.
Visitation is scheduled Friday May 24, 2024 from 10:00 am until 8:00 pm at Garnand Funeral Home in Garden City, Kansas. Funeral Services will be held at 10:30 am Saturday May 25, 2024 at the First Southern Baptist Church in Garden City, Kansas with Rev. Gary Stafford and Rev. John Harms officiating. Memorial contr
