Vada Irene (Colip) Randall passed away Wednesday, October 21, 2020, at Trego County Lemke Memorial Hospital, WaKeeney, Kansas. She was born to George L. and Bertha (Garrison) Colip on March 10, 1927, at the family home in rural Norton County.
Vada graduated from Norton High School in 1944. She married Cloyce D. Randall on September 7, 1946. In 1948 they moved to Gove, Kansas and had three sons, Robert L.,
Donald L. and Randy L. Vada was secretary to Superintendent of WHS School District, and Clerk to the Board of Education of USD 292. Cloyce, Vada and Randy moved to WaKeeney in 1978. Vada worked for Commercial National Bank in data processing in WaKeeney. She retired as Manager December 1990. Vada spent her retirement years volunteering on various committees in the community. She also enjoyed line dancing.
She is survived by her sons, Robert and (Elizabeth), Manhattan, Kansas., Donald and (Patricia) Gove, Kansas., and Randy and (Joann) Wichita, Kansas; eight grandchildren; and two great-grandsons.
A private graveside memorial service will be held at a later date, at the Jennings Cemetery, Jennings, Kansas.
