During the May meeting of the Daughters of Isabella, Isabella Circle #254, Ms. Geri Zerr was selected as the 2023 Daughter of the Year.
Geri will be honored at the June 13, 2023 Mother/Daughter/Honors Activity and meeting.
Geri has been a member of the Immaculate Heart of Mary Parish for many years. Her involvement includes Mass attendance, Corpus Christi, and Stations of the Cross.
As a member of the Daughters of Isabella, Isabella Circle #254 for the past 13 years, Geri has attended monthly meetings, participated in rosaries for deceased members and families, has been a honorary pall bearer at our deceased members' funerals, organized and participated in our youth activities, assisted with bingo, helped with the VFW Stars and Stripes Breakfasts, participated in the welcome ceremonies, attended state conferences and conventions, and attended international convention.
Geri currently holds the office of Vice-Regent for Isabella Circle #254.
Geri can always be counted on to help at Holy Family Elementary School, Wednesday night religious education, serving lunches at TMP-Marian High School and also volunteers her time to help at Via Christi.
Geri has one daughter, Sarah Zerr.
Hobbies that Geri enjoys in her spare time are gardening, going to movies, garage sales and traveling with her daughter.
During the Mother/Daughter/Honors Activity on June 13, Geri will be presented a plaque showing our appreciation for all her involvement and help.
Along with Geri, our 25-year member, Karen Bieker will honored by being awarded a pin showing her years of membership.
