LARNED – TMP’s Molly Helget bounced back from a 0-2 start
and finished 5th at 120 pounds at the Larned girls round robin Thursday
in Larned.

Helget dropped her first two matches by fall. She opened
with a first-period fall against Russell’s Kinsey Zorn in her first match of
the tournament.

In her second round robin matchup, Helget lost by fall in
the third period against Holcomb’s Jalyssa Lopez.

Helget bounced back in a back way after the 0-2 start. 

She earned first period falls over Ariahna Krob from Larned
and Allison Simmons of Larned to earn an appearance in the 5th place
match.

In her final match of the day Helget was able to secure a
6-2 decision to finished fifth at 3-2 at the tournament.
