Phillipsburg resident Lena Davis passed away Sunday, February 26, 2023, peacefully in her home at the age of 94.
Lena was born November 19, 1928, in Midland, Arkansas, to her parents Bernardo and Angelina (Zagonel) Bucella.
She was married to Dean Davis on March, 9, 1957, in Fort Smith, Arkansas.
Lena is preceded in death by her husband Dean and parents Bernardo and Angelina.
She
is survived by her daughter Vicky Hewitt and husband Patrick of
Phillipsburg, granddaughter Desiree Perrel and husband Tim of St. Paul,
Nebraska, grandsons Cameron Hewitt of Plainville, and Jacee Hewitt of
Phillipsburg, and three great grandchildren; Ava Hewitt, Austyn Perrel,
and Ryder Perrel of St. Paul, Nebraska.
A funeral service will be
held at 10:30 on Friday, March 3, 2023, at the Olliff-Boeve Memorial
Chapel. Lena will be laid to rest at the Fairview Cemetery in
Phillipsburg.
Lena will lie in-state on Wednesday from 12 p.m. to 9 p.m. and Thursday from 9 a.m. to 9 p.m.
