Internal promotions and a retirement have Midwest Energy looking to hire two Customer Service Representatives (CSRs) for its Hays office. Midwest Energy’s CSRs provide prompt, courteous and accurate customer service in-person and by phone, helping manage customer accounts, responding to customer inquiries and updating customer records in various databases.
Education and Experience
An associate's degree in business or related field is required. Applicants should have a minimum of two years’ experience in customer relations or sales including general office operations. Excellent communication skills are required, as is knowledge in general office procedures and Microsoft Office programs. Candidates should be able to acquire, within a reasonable time span, an understanding of the Company’s rates, billing and collection regulations and other policies and procedures affecting the customers.
Successful candidates are effective in dealing with a variety of people under difficult circumstances, and have a demonstrated ability to prioritize duties and work independently with minimal supervision. A valid Kansas drivers license is required, and bilingual skills in Spanish are desirable.
