Bruce James Wittman, age 49, died on December 28, 2020 at the Ness County Hospital, Ness City. Bruce was born on October 8, 1971 in Larned to Calvin and Earlene (Roberts) Wittman.
He graduated from Bazine High School in 1990. He received his Certified Nurses Aid certificate in 1999 and worked in Lacrosse as a Certified Nurses Aid from 1999 to 2009. Currently, he was a cattleman and hired hand for local farmers around Bazine.
Bruce is survived by his parents, Calvin and Earlene Wittman of Bazine, his 3 brothers, Mark Wittman of Memphis, TN, Darin Wittman and his wife, Amanda, of Bazine, and Luke Wittman of Great Bend; niece, Tenley, of Bazine, nephew, Tuff, and niece, Saylor, of Great Bend. He is also survived by many aunts, uncles, cousins, and friends. He is preceded in death by his grandparents, Theodore and Wilma Wittman and Earl and Esther Roberts, his uncle, Raymond and cousin, Aaron Gathman.
A family only funeral is scheduled for Saturday, January 2, 2021, 1:00 p.m. at the St. Paul Congregational Church, Bazine where Bruce was a lifetime member. A graveside service will follow at 2:00 p.m. at the Bazine Cemetery. All are welcome to attend and celebrate the life of Bruce at the graveside services where social distancing and mask will be required. Viewing will be held at Fitzgerald Funeral Home, Ness City on Friday, January 1, 2021 from 10:00 a.m. until 8:00 p.m. with the family present from 6:00 - 8:00 p.m.
Memorial Contributions may be given to the St. Paul Congregational Church, Bazine or the Bazine Cemetery.
