LIBERAL - The Hays High girls' soccer team extended their win streak to five straight matches with a 6-0 win at Liberal Thursday.
The Indians jumped out early with four first half goals.
Dani Willeford scored first at the 10 minute mark on an assist from Katie Dinkel. Kinslee Newell forced an own goal with her cross at the 25th minute. Karlee Crispein pushed the lead to 3-0 with a goal in the 32nd minute then Sienna Lummus scored off a pass from Ava Biggs in the 37th minute.
Crispin added a second goal in the 61st minute then Willeford closed out the scoring on a penalty kick in the 76th minute.
Katie Gutierrez had one save in goal.
Hays High is now 8-2 overall and 4-1 in the Western Athletic Conference. They host Great Bend on Monday.
