MANHATTAN, Kan. - Kansas State Athletics and former Men’s Basketball Head Coach Jerome Tang today announced the parties have reached a settlement resolving matters related to his separation in February.

Kansas State and Coach Tang are moving forward on the agreed terms, including a $12 million payment. Coach Tang served as head men's basketball coach for four seasons. In his first season, he led Kansas State to the Elite Eight and became the first head coach in program history to receive the Naismith Men’s Basketball Coach of the Year Award.

"This settlement allows both parties to move forward on agreed terms,” said Kansas State Director of Athletics Gene Taylor. “We're grateful for his contributions to Kansas State basketball, including a memorable first season, and we wish him and his family well.”
