The Ellis County Commission will certify the primary election with an official canvass Monday morning.
According to the commission agenda, there were 132 provisional ballots that needed further evaluation by election staff.
County Election Officer and Clerk Bobbi Dreiling said election staff recommend the election board of canvassers approve 95 provisional ballots and reject 37.
Dreiling will update the board on the reason for the rejection of those ballots.
Each Kansas county was also required to conduct two post-election audits, and the county also audited the county commission District 1 race. Dreiling said they found no discrepancies during those audits.
The canvass is scheduled for 8 a.m. Monday in the Ellis County Commission Chambers at the Administrative Center, 718 Main.
