The Bricks in Downtown Hays is now accepting applications for its Board of Directors, with terms beginning in January 2026.

The Bricks Board provides strategic leadership, oversight, and governance to ensure the organization continues advancing its mission: to enhance the economic and cultural vibrancy of Downtown Hays as the heart of our community. Board members play a key role in shaping policy, guiding initiatives, and supporting the long-term vision for Downtown Hays

Prospective candidates must be residents of Hays and willing to serve a three-year term. While downtown business and property owners are encouraged to apply, it is not a requirement. Board members meet at least once a month, typically on the third Wednesday at 11:45 a.m., and are also asked to serve on committees that meet as needed.

Ideal candidates are individuals who value community development, collaboration, and creative problem solving, and who are willing to contribute their time, expertise, and resources to the success of The Bricks.
