A cabin burned about 7:30 p.m. Thursday night at the C2T Ranch in the 1202 Saline River Road.

The cabin was a total loss. No one was injured.

Rural fire was able to respond to the scene and extinguish the blaze. No other structures were affected.

Chad Tuttle, co-owner, said the cabin was not finished and was being used for storage.

The cause of the fire is not know, but Tuttle said it could have be sparked by a heat lamp that was being used in the structure to warm chicks.

The Tuttles had not yet put a dollar figure on the loss.

Chad Tuttle said he and his wife had planned to use the cabin for expansion of their C2T Ranch campground, which is planned for this summer.

However, he said the loss of the building will not affect the other projects set for the property.
