Virginia Ann 'Ginger' Bott

Virginia Ann “Ginger” Bott, 70, La Crosse, Kansas, passed away Tuesday, November 16, 2021, at her home in La Crosse, Kansas.

Ginger was born June 9, 1951, in Hays, Kansas, the daughter of Charles Glenn and Margaret Veronica (Delaney) Seaman.  Most of Ginger’s life was spent as a resident of Rush County, Kansas.  A huge part of Ginger’s life was the Rush County Memorial Hospital, La Crosse, Kansas, where she was employed for more than 30 years before her retirement.

Survivors include:  one son, Jamey Bott (Ashley), Russell, Kansas; one daughter, Michelle Ring, Hays, Kansas; three grandchildren, Delaney Bott, Anderson Bott, and McCallian “Calli” Bott; three sisters, JoAnn Huber, La Crosse, Kansas, Karen Depperschmidt, El Reno, Oklahoma, and Janet Basgall (Virgil), Carson City, Nevada; and numerous nephews and nieces.

She was preceded in death by her parents; an infant son, Joseph Bott; and one brother, Charles “Chuck” Seaman.

Per Ginger’s wishes, the family has chosen cremation.

Visitation will be Sunday, November 21, 2021, from 5:00 P.M. to 7:00 P.M. at the Janousek Funeral Home, La Crosse, Kansas. 

In lieu of flowers or plants, the family requests memorials to the Virginia Ann “Ginger” Bott Memorial Fund.
