Hays city commissioners will get their first in-depth look at the draft 2027 budget presented Thursday by Collin Bielser, deputy city manager.
Also on the agenda is the proposed plan repairing 1,943 linear feet of sanitary sewer lining and 55 internal point repairs at multiple locations across the city.
Jeff Crispin, water resources director, will present the low bid of $153,140 from Mayer Specialty Services, Goddard.
A resolution will be reviewed by Kim Rupp, city finance director, to issue $6 million in general obligation bonds to fund the Tallgrass Phase 4 infrastructure improvements and to permanently finance the infrastructure improvements at Interstate 70 Exit 161.
At the request of David Vilaysing, commissioner, a discussion will also be held about possibly changing to a later start time for commission meetings and work sessions.
