⛳FHSU Men’s Golf Second in Weather Shortened Crestview Invitational

WICHITA, Kan. – Fort Hays State Men's Golf finished second out of 10 teams in the weather-shortened Crestview Invitational. It was the first tournament of the spring for the FHSU men. After the first day was canceled, the second day was shortened to just 18 holes due to weather and course conditions. Jackson Rader led the Tigers with a 1-over par 73, tying for third individually.

Bryce Cowan also had a top-10 finish individually, finishing in a tie for 10th with a 76. The rest of the Tigers competing as part of the team all shot 77, which included Dustin NicholsParker Krob, and Tanner CopelandCaleb Humble was the only Tiger competing individually, and he shot a 79.

A 2-under par 70 by Anthony DeSchutter of Garden City Community College topped the field individually. He helped his team to the top score of 299. FHSU was four strokes back with a 303.

Full results will be available on Golfstat in the near future. The Tigers head to the Hillcat Classic next week, set to take place March 14-15 at Bailey Ranch Golf Club in Owasso, Oklahoma.
