With the threat of winter weather looming, Hays USD 489 has announced school will be canceled Monday.
"Due to weather forecast predictions of high snow accumulations this evening through tomorrow morning, Hays Public Schools 489 will cancel school for Monday, January 25th," the district said in a message Sunday afternoon.
