Out of respect for the U.S. flag and flag etiquette, Hays Kiwanis Club will not display the almost 1,400 flags scheduled for Memorial Day, May 26, 2025.

Flag etiquette requires that the U.S. flags not be displayed during inclement weather. Due to the rain at he time of notification of volunteers, the chance of rain all day and the amount of time it takes to pick up if it does rain, we are making he difficult decision to not put the flags out.

Hays Kiwanis Club appreciates the support and understanding of our fundraiser participants.

Kiwanis flag plaement canceled because of weather
