SHERIDAN COUNTY—One person was injured in an accident just before 12:30p.m. Friday in Sheridan County.
The Kansas Highway Patrol reported a 2006 Kenworth semi driven by Joshua Martin Wille, 39, Kansas City, Kansas, was northbound on Kansas 23 at U.S. 83. The driver failed to yield at a stop sign. The semi collided with a westbound 2012 Kenworth semi driven by Terry Lee Prescott, 58, Leoti. Both vehicles came to a rest at the intersection.
EMS transported Prescott to Ambermed. There were no other injuries. Both drivers were properly restrained, according to the KHP.
