Phillipsburg resident Sandra K. Portenier passed away Wednesday, July 15th at the Phillips County Hospital in Phillipsburg at the age of 80.

Sandra was born January 21, 1940, in Wray, Colorado.

She was united in marriage to Dean Portenier on January 3rd, 1957, in Great Bend, KS.&nbsp; He preceded her in death in 2005.

Survivors include her three daughters, Debra Cox of Palmyra, NE, 
Diane R. Boyd and husband &nbsp;Brent of Speed and Jeanette Pakkebier of 
Phillipsburg; her son, Kent Portenier and wife Tamra of Kirwin; two 
sisters Delores Hansen and husband Kenny of Chapell, NE and Barb 
Simmerman and husband Scot of Scotts Bluff, NE; 6 grandchildren; and 7 
great grandchildren.

Funeral services will be held at 10:30 a.m. Tuesday, July 21st,
 2020 at the Olliff-Boeve Memorial Chapel, Phillipsburg.&nbsp; The services 
will be streamed live on Olliff-Boeve Memorial Chapel FaceBook 
Page.&nbsp;Burial will follow in the Fairview Cemetery, Phillipsburg.

Mrs. Portenier will lie in state from noon until 9 p.m. Sunday and 9 
a.m. to 9 p.m. Monday at the Olliff-Boeve Memorial Chapel.&nbsp; The family 
will receive friends for visitation from 7 p.m. until 8 p.m. Monday 
evening at the funeral chapel.

Memorial contributions may be made to the United Methodist Women or Hospice Services.
