July 2 Natoma American Legion - 5:30-8:00 PM - Celebrate the 250th Anniversary signing of the Declaration of Independence and enjoy homemade ice cream w/ pie. Military displays and special readings of the Declaration of Independence and Bill of Rights. Bring a lawn chair! 

July 4 Osborne Fire works and Ice Cream - Join us by the Sanders Baseball Complex at dusk for free ice cream! Fireworks will start after dark. 

July 11 Osborne Wrestling Camp, Osborne High School New Gym, 219 N. 2nd St, Osborne For Grades K-12th. K-6 is from 10 AM-Noon; 7th-12th is from 1-4 PM. Featuring Mugzy, real American Freestyle winner and wrestling influencer. $50 per person (pay at the door). Contact Jason Knoll for questions 785-345-3189. 

July 12-16 Wonder Junction VBS, Grace Brethren Church, 108 E. 5th St., Portis, KS 

VBS 2026 is right around the corner! Grace Brethren Church will be hosting the Wonder Junction July 12th - 16th from 6:00 p.m. - 8:45 p.m. Kids ages 4 through those who have completed 5th grade this past school year are welcome to attend VBS. Contact 785-346-2085. 

July 12 Alton Independence Celebration 

6 PM Free BBQ Meal, t-ball and baseball games, pie and icecream, fireworks at dark. Fun for the whole family! 

July 22-25 Osborne County Fair – Fun for the whole family! 

July 26-30 Gold Rush VBS, First Christian Church, 1017 Morgan Ave., Downs, KS 

Gold Rush: Discovering the Rock of Ages - 5:00 PM registration to finish at 8:00 PM each evening. A light supper is included. Closing program will be Thursday evening July 30 at 6:00 PM with fellowship after. Just finished PreK-4 to 5th grade. Please call church office for more information 785-454-3438.
