Dick Lee Detwiler, age 98, passed away Monday, August 17, 2020 at the
Valley Vista Long Term Care in Wamego, KS. He was born February 19,
1922 in Rural Smith County, KS to Henry and Hilma (Drotts) Detwiler. He
was a farmer.
Survivors include daughters Dixie King (Thom) of Manhattan, KS, Jane
Detwiler (Jesse Whitla) of Aubrey, TX and Erica Elder (Jeff) of Wamego,
KS; son Bruce Detwiler (Teresa) of Eureka, KS; 5 grandchildren and 1
great granddaughter; brother Loren Detwiler of Mesa, AZ and sister
Carol (Vern) Overmiller of Smith Center, KS.
