The Kansas Department of Health and Environment reported just one new case of COVID-19 was identified in Ellis County since Wednesday.

As of Friday, the University of Kansas Health System reported two COVID-19 inpatients at HaysMed, one active and one recovering.

Since reporting began, there have been 3,722 cases of COVID-19 identified in Ellis County, including 73 coronavirus-related deaths.
