Ivan J. "Ike" Mansholt, 73, passed away Saturday, September 4, 2021, at Smith County Memorial Hospital.
Ike was born September 3, 1948, in Smith County, KS, the son of
Raymond and Maxine (Bock) Mansholt. On October 16, 1971, he married
Beverly Ann Atwood in Lebanon, KS, to this union they were blessed with
three children, Kristy, Christopher and Everett.
He was preceded in death by his parents and an infant brother David.
Ike is survived by his wife Bev Mansholt of Lebanon; daughter, Kristy
(Ryan) Stewart of Lebanon; two sons, Christopher Mansholt of Lebanon and
Everett (Tiffany) Mansholt of Smith Center; two sisters, Virginia
(Mick) Mickelson of Longmont, CO, Barbara (Keith) Wineinger of Cawker
City; and five grandchildren, Courtney, Lynsey and Rylee Stewart and
Ryker and Reed Mansholt.
Funeral services will be held at
10:30 a.m., Wednesday, September 8, 2021, at All Faiths Funeral Chapel,
113 S. Madison St., Smith Center, KS, with Pastor Lance McDowell
officiating. Visitation will be held on Tuesday, September 7, 2021,
from 5:00 p.m. - 7:00 p.m. with family present to greet friends during
that time. Burial will take place in South Oak Creek Cemetery, Downs,
KS. Memorials may be given to Kans for Kids Fighting Cancer and can be
sent in care of the funeral chapel.
