The Ellis County Public Works Road & Bridge Division has announced that a concrete repair project will take place just east of the intersection of Canterbury Drive and Old U.S. 40 on Old U.S. 40.
Repairs will begin at 8:30 a.m. Wednesday, and will reopen every day at 5 p.m., until the project is completed. During repairs, traffic will be restricted to one lane. This area of Old U.S. 40 will allow two-way traffic and will have flaggers to direct traffic. Drivers should expect a short delay in travel time. Motorists traveling in the affected area should use alternate routes of travel if possible until the project is completed.
