Lifelong Goodland, KS resident Donald James Kernal, 56, passed away on Wednesday, June 10, 2020, at Topside Manor in Goodland.

Don was born on May 30, 1964, in Goodland to Harley B. and Anni F. Schneider Kernal.&nbsp; He was one of nine children.

Don was a caregiver for his mother Anni before her death, and enjoyed detailing cars for many years.&nbsp; He also enjoyed collecting Coca Cola Memorabilia and he also collected model airplanes.&nbsp; He also enjoyed spending time with his family.

Preceding him in death were his parents, his twin brother Ron, three sisters; Patricia, Sonja and Elke, and a nephew Lucas.

He is survived by his siblings Juergen and Jody Kernal of Goodland, Cindy Kernal of Moline, IL, Harley (Quinn) Kernal of Anaheim, CA and Pat Kernal of Colby, KS.&nbsp; He is also survived numerous nieces, nephews and friends.

Memorial services for Don will be held at a later date.

Memorial contributions may be designated to the American Heart Association and may be sent to Koons-Russell Funeral Home, 211 N. Main Ave., Goodland, KS.
