Jaide Therese Lawson, 18, of Russell, Kansas, passed away Wednesday, May 13, 2020, after a courageous battle against cancer at the Children’s Mercy Hospital in Kansas City, Missouri.

Jaide was born March 13, 2002, in Humble, Texas, the daughter of Amy Therese Lawson.&nbsp; She is a graduate of Russell High School.&nbsp; Jaide had a strong love for Art, Music and Gaming.&nbsp; She attended Otterbein United Methodist Church of Russell.

Jaide’s surviving family include her parents, Brenton and Amy Sievert of Russell, Kansas; three brothers, Aiden Dean Seivert, Otto James Sievert and Lelend Cash Sievert all of the home.

Celebration of Jaide’s Life will be held at 5:00 P.M., Thursday, June 18, 2020, at the Russell Elks Lodge in Russell.&nbsp; Condolences may be sent to Pohlman-Varner-Peeler Mortuary, who is in charge of these arrangements.
