The Kansas City Royals have been busy since the Major League Baseball Draft wrapped up last Thursday as they have signed six undrafted free agents. That is tied for the second most players signed as of Sunday night.
Because of the COVID-19 pandemic the MLB Draft was reduced from 40 rounds to just five, so there are many more opportunities this season to sign undrafted players.
