The Ellis County Health Department on Wednesday announced two new positive cases of coronavirus in the county, pushing the number of active cases to four.

The two new cases involved individuals exhibiting mild symptoms. They are contacts of each other and have been in contact with a known positive COVID-19 case outside of Ellis County.

The were identified via contact tracing efforts from another county.&nbsp;

The health department said contacts of the latest cases will be notified.
