LOGAN - The Dane G. Hansen Foundation is pleased to announce workshops for board members and staff of nonprofit organizations in the foundation’s 26-county service area in northwest Kansas.
The workshops will be presented by Nancy Jackson of Generous Change, Lawrence. Nancy started her own nonprofit, has served on dozens of boards, raised tens of millions of dollars, and supported board members all across Kansas.
The workshop is designed to help board members and staff feel comfortable helping to raise funds for the nonprofit organizations they serve. Each workshop will include a light meal, and couple hours of conversation and laughter.
Attendees will leave with:
- A "formula" for conversation about your mission that doesn't feel pushy
- Phrases to use to make it all easier
- Practice with folks in the same boat to build your confidence
For those who wish are not sure about gathering yet, Nancy will lead two, interactive virtual workshops on Wednesday, June 17, 7-9 p.m., and Monday, June 22, 7-9 p.m. This is the same workshop, offered twice.
For those who are comfortable gathering, Nancy will lead seven, interactive in-person workshops for nonprofit board members and staff.

The workshops are open to any nonprofit staff or board member in the Hansen Foundation service area.
