Anna (Ann) Hradecky Krayca went to be with her Lord on June 4, 2020 at the age of 103 years old in Russell, Kansas.
Ann was born to Frank and Albina (Dillenburg) Hradecky on the family farm near Fleming, Colorado on October 16, 1916. She married James Krayca on June 1, 1935 in Sterling, Colorado, and came to Goodland, Kansas to live on a farm north of Goodland.
Ann was the loving and devoted Mother of Jim, Richard, Ken, Wayne, David and Betty. She also enjoyed her role as Grandmother, Great Grandmother and Great Great Grandmother. Her interests included hand sewing, lottery tickets, crossword puzzles and reading Pioneer books.
Preceding her in death were her parents, brothers, sisters, husband, sons; Richard and Wayne, a daughter-in-law Eileen Krayca, grandsons; Shon Duane Conley and Matt Krayca and a great grandson Isaac Stone.
She is survived by her children; Jim Krayca, Ken (Glenda) Kraysha, David (Sondra) Krayca and Betty (Don) Engle and a daughter-in-law Kathy Krayca. She is also survived by grandchildren; Danny (Diane) Krayca, Debbie (Steve) Simon, Tricia Bunney, Pam (Kevin) Hook, Bambi Kraysha, Sheri (Dale) Stone, Bob (Tammy) Krayca, John Wayne (Melissa) Krayca, Dustin Krayca, Trista (David) Anderson, Christina (Wayne) Hoch, and numerous great and great great grandchildren.
Funeral services for Ann will be held on Friday, June 12, 2020 at 10:00 AM MT at Koons-Russell Funeral Home in Goodland with Pastor Zach Anderson officiating. Burial will follow in the Goodland Cemetery.
Visitation will be held on Thursday, June 11, 2020 from 5:00 to 8:00 PM MT at Koons-Russell Funeral Home.
In Lieu of Flowers, memorials may be designated to the Northwest Kansas Animal Shelter or to the Goodland Cemetery Tree Fund and may be left at the services or mailed to Koons-Russell Funeral Home, 211 N. Main Ave., Goodland, KS 67735.
