Driver hospitalized after semi rolls in NW Kansas

CHEYENNE COUNTY —One person was injured in an accident just after 6:30a.m. Friday in Cheyenne County.

The Kansas Highway Patrol reported a 2007 Peterbilt semi driven by Braden Lee Albers, 43, Ash Flat, AR., was northbound on Kansas 27 at the U.S. 36 junction.

The semi left the roadway towards the east ditch. The driver over corrected and the vehicle rolled into the ditch. 

EMS transported Albers to Cheyenne County Hospital. He was properly restrained at the time of the accident, according to the KHP.
