The Fort Hays State men’s basketball team has added another guard to their recruiting class with the signing of Elijah Nnanabu.

Nannabu is a Seattle native who is listed as a combo guard and great defender. He played four years at West Seattle High School before playing at Cooper International Academy in Ontario, Calif. where he averaged 25 points, five rebounds and five assists per game and was named the team’s Newcomer of the Year in 2018-19.

Nnanabu is the fourth signee for the Tigers for the 2020-21 season joining high school seniors Quinten Rock, a 6-0 guard from Smoky Hill HS in Aurora, Colo.; Haggan Hilgendorf, a 6-9 forward from Hastings HS in Hastings, Neb.; and Traejon Davis, a 6-5 guard from Hoops for Christ in Oklahoma City, Okla.
