Sammy Duane Busby, 76, of Colby, died Tuesday, May 26, 2020 at Prairie
Senior Living Complex, Colby. He was born August 18, 1943, in St.
Francis, KS, to Willard and Pauline (Trembly) Busby. Sammy graduated
from St. Francis High School and served in the United States Air Force.
After his time in the service he was an over the road truck driver. He
also worked for several local farmers around Palco. Sammy enjoyed
fishing, NASCAR, tinkering and doing leather work.
He was preceded in death by his wife Judy (Cleveland) Busby; five brothers and one sister.
He is survived by his children, Robert (Kathy) Blessing, David (Arvara)
Blessing, Susan (Greg) Morey, Cindy (Danny) Diaz, Michelle (Mike) Weed
and Ron (Sonya) Busby; sister, Sharon Busby; twelve grandchildren and
five great grandchildren.
Cremation was chosen and a private family burial will take place at a
