EDWARDS COUNTY —On person was injured in an accident just before 10p.m. Saturday in Edwards County.
The Kansas Highway Patrol reported a 2009 Chevy Malibu driven by Crispin Garcia, 27, Boise City, OK., was eastbound on S Road, just east of 190th Avenue and struck Joseph Allen Hammack, 35, Macksville, who was just outside of the drivers side door of a 2006 Chevy Trailblazer in the middle of the road.
EMS transported Hammack to the hospital in Kinsley. Garcia, an adult and two children in the Chevy were properly restrained and not injured, according to the KHP.
