Wednesday, May 13 will be the last day of school for HMS.
Information regarding what is due for school work for next week was sent to students Friday morning.
Thursday, May 14, and Friday, May 15 will be the assigned iPad check-in days for HMS students.
The process for iPad check-in will also include students dropping off any library book, classroom reading book, text books, calculator or other item that may have been checked out to them over the course of the year.
The iPad check-in will take place on the west side of HMS which will allow parents to park in the West parking lot.
The staff also respectively requests only your student go through the check-in process as the school does not have room for extra people around the check-in area.
Students will also receive any award they may have achieved over the year. The Falcon Parent Squad has purchased a snoball coupon for every student to receive as they turn-in their iPad.
Here are the iPad collection times for HMS students. The school asks you please try to make the time assigned; however, if you can’t make it due to work reasons, they have a time reserved time at 5:30 p.m. on Thursday, May 14.
The school asks you please only use the 5:30 p.m. time if you can’t get your student to their assigned time. As a reminder, the drop off is for all HMS students according to their last name.
"I have no doubt, students will want to go to see friends, however, in order to manage the guidelines we need to adhere to, we need students to refrain from grouping together or spending time trying to visit," Principal Tom Albers said.
This process is designed to get in and out of the school parking lot as fast as possible. In the event of adverse weather, the process will change to a drive-through process that will be evident as you enter the west parking lot.
