Elias “Lee” Luna was born August 12, 1937 in Greeley, CO to Pantalion and Maria (Silva) Luna. He passed away May 5, 2020 at his home surrounded by his family at the age of 82.
Lee married Viola “Ruth” Duran on April 19, 1959 in Ft. Collins, Colorado. He was a carpet layer for many years. Lee enjoyed being outdoors and going fishing and camping. His favorite places to go were to auctions and flea markets and his favorite place to eat was the Golden Corral. Lee loved his family and especially enjoyed spending time with all his grandchildren.
Lee was preceded in death by his parents; children: Robin Luna, Elias Elijo Luna and Patty Luna and siblings, Agurila Duran, Inez Garcia, Monica Garcia and Mary Luna. He is survived by his wife of 61 years, Ruth of the home; children: Paul (Rhonda) Luna of Colby, KS, Bill (Mary) Luna of Rexford, KS, Robbie (Nikki) Luna of Rexford, KS and Domonic Luna of Kersey, CO; siblings: Jacki Schnider of California, Severa Trevino of Colorado, Senerina LaFeber of Colorado, Eva Owens of Colorado and Elijio (Alex) Luna of Kansas; 24 grandchildren and 18 great grandchildren.
