The Hays Downtown Development Corp. Bach's Lunch on The Bricks will proceed as planned.
The series is set to start Friday, June 5, at the Downtown Pavilion with Bodarks String Band, which is described as hootenanny, ragtime, jug band and western swing.
Allie Glidewell, DHDC director of events and operations, said the governor's reopening plans orders will be followed at the events.
Concerts will be every first, third and fifth Friday of the month (June through August). At 12:05 p.m., DHDC will offer a free, one-hour concert and $10 box lunch from a downtown restaurant.
Vegetarian lunch can be requested with a reservation. Reservations for lunch are appreciated. You can also bring your own food if you wish.
All ages are welcome. Guests are encouraged to bring their own chairs.
"It's going to be a lot of fun this year," Glidewell said. "I think there are some newer artists as well as some local artists.
"The food is going to be really good — all local from downtown restaurants. I think we are all ready to shake loose a little bit, and I think this will be a really fun way to do it."
