Effective Monday, ACCESS Public Transportation in Hays will be resuming public transportation services.
"We appreciate everyone’s patience while we begin transitioning to full operation," DSNWK said in a news release.
All riders are requested to wear a face mask when on the bus.
ACCESS will be taking reservation calls on May 7 and 8 from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. for rides beginning on May 11.
Starting May 11 from 6 a.m. to 5:30 p.m., dispatch lines will be open. Rides may be booked up to two weeks in advance.
"ACCESS Transportation will continue to take every precaution to keep everyone safe during the COVID-19 pandemic. For the safety of our staff, if you are sick please do not ride ACCESS."

Operating hours starting May 11 will be as follows:
Monday - Friday 6 AM to 6 PM
Saturday & Sunday 6 AM to 4 PM
Saturday & Sunday- 6 AM - 4 PM
Safe Ride will remain closed until the State of Kansas reaches Phase 3 of the Governor's Executive Order.
Once the state is in Phase 3, Safe Ride will be operating its summer hours of Friday and Saturday from 10 PM to 3 AM. To schedule a ride on Safe Ride, call 785-621-2580 during these hours.
