2 hospitalized after NW Kansas rollover accident

LOGAN COUNTY —Two people were injured in an accident just after 2 p.m. Sunday in Logan County.

The Kansas Highway Patrol reported a 2016 Chrysler 200 driven by Andrew J. Gilliam, 19, Kansas City, Mo., was eastbound on U.S. 40 just west of County Road 220.

The vehicle exited the road to the right, and the driver overcorrected. The vehicle came back on the roadway then exited the roadway to the left and rolled onto its roof.

EMS transported Gilliam and a passenger Trey Tarell Bradley, 23, Warrensburg, Mo., to the hospital in Oakley. They were not wearing seat belts, according to the KHP.
