Mary Ann Wondra (Huslig, 82, passed away April 28, 2020, at Country Place Senior Living, Hoisington. She was born on March 12, 1938 at Fowler to Anton “Tony” & Louise Ann (Maneth) Huslig. She married Arthur Wondra November 14, 1959 at Cunningham. He survives.

Coming from Penalosa in 1959, Mary Ann was a Great Bend resident. She was a RN for CKMC, Great Bend Home Health & Hospice and Cherry Village. She was a member of the Lakeside Club, Prince of Peace Parish at St. Rose of Lima Catholic Church, Altar Society and Daughters of Isabella. She was a former member of the Cheyenne Twisters Square Dance Club. She took communion to the sick and helped provide funeral dinners. She especially loved spending time with her family.

Survivors include her husband, Arthur of the home; four sons, Kevin Wondra (Teresa) of Great Bend, Alan Wondra (Karen) of Wichita, Korey Wondra (Leann) of Hutchinson, and David Wondra (Valerie) of Wichita; a daughter, Kathy Walsten (Eric) of Mulvane; three brothers, Paul Huslig (Bernice) of Great Bend, Jerome Huslig (Eileen) of Ellinwood, and Charles Huslig (Marilyn) of Ellsworth; a sister, Helen Schnitter (Mark) of Kingman; eleven grandchildren, Jennifer Axman (Doug, Brice Walsten, Kyle Walsten (Emily, Aaron Wondra (Kassade, Alicia Wondra, Lucas Wondra, Zachary Wondra (fiancé Jenna Kistler, Evan Wondra (Audrey, Joshua Wondra, Andrew Walsten, and Emma Wondra; four great grandchildren, Trysten Grant, Parker Wondra, Adalynn Axman, and Louisa Walsten; two step grandchildren, Sabrina Bailey (Robert, and Devin Holley; and three step great grandchildren, Cameron Nichols, Jordan Holley, and Braden Holley. She was preceded in death by her parents; four brothers, Arthur Huslig, Marcus Huslig, Ervin Huslig, and Larry Huslig; and two grandchildren, Megan Wondra, and Brett Wondra.

Services are pending and will be announced soon. Memorials are suggested to Prince of Peace Parish, in care of Bryant Funeral Home.
