Phillipsburg resident John J. "Jack" Witmer passed away April 27, 2020, at the Phillips County Hospital in Phillipsburg at the age of 88. He was born Sept. 28, 1931, in Phillipsburg the son of Joseph & Fern (May) Witmer.
Survivors include his wife Helen of the home; his son Eric of Phillipsburg; his daughter, Valissa of Phoenix, AZ & 3 grandchildren.
Private family services will be held Friday, May 1, 2020, at 2:00 p.m. in the United Methodist Church with Pastor Blake Stanwood officiating. Burial will follow in the Fairview Cemetery.

Memorial contributions may be made to the Witmer Family Pharmacy Scholarship at KU or the Phillipsburg Golf Club.
Visitation will be from 5:00 to 9:00 Wed. & 9:00 to 9:00 Thursday at the Olliff-Boeve Memorial Chapel, Phillipsburg.
