The National Weather Service is warning of potential thunderstorms Tuesday afternoon through Wednesday in portions of western Kansas.
While strong to severe thunderstorms are possible in far southwest Kansas — with large hail and winds up to 60 mph are possible — Hays and Ellis County is expected to receive up to a half-inch of precipitation Tuesday into Wednesday.
Another round of thunderstorms is possible Thursday.
