Melanie Ann Bernbeck, 63, passed away on April 19, 2020 at the Grisell Memorial Hospital in Ransom, Kansas.  She was born on February 25, 1957 in Washington Courthouse, Ohio the daughter of Harold and Georgann (Mizzoni) Wagner.

She was a member of the First Christian Church of Utica where she was a Life Deaconess and a active member of CWF.  She was a teacher and a member of the RNC and the NRA.  She married Berthold "Gene" Bernbeck on Saturday, June 7th, 1986, in Utica, Kansas.  

Survivors include husband, Gene; mother, Georgann Wagner; son, Dion Bernbeck and his wife, Amanda, of Grainfield; sisters, Mary Bundy of Missouri and Doreen Wagner of Ohio; and four grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her father.

Funeral service  and burial will be on Thursday, April 23, 2020, 10:30 a.m., at the Utica Cemetery, Utica.

Memorial contributions may be given to the First Christian Church.
