ELLIS — The Ellis High School Alumni Association’s cookbooks have arrived and are for sale. In our homes today, as always, life is centered around our kitchens. The 2020 cookbook is dedicated to all cooks, Ellis High School alums or not.
The cookbook features some Ellis Alumni Association history as well as some school history of the Ellis Public schools. As viewers thumb through the cookbook, many familiar names appear from former and current EHS alums, school employees, and former employees of Ellis businesses.
The cookbook committee would like to thank those for sharing their favorite recipes and honoring those no longer with us by submitting a recipe in memory of them. All of the recipes reflect the love of good cooking.
If you would like to obtain the new 2020 cookbook, please notify one of the Alumni Cookbook Committee members: Rita (Boos) Younger, Sylvia Deutscher, Pauleen (Keller) Edmonds, Amber (Honas) Deutscher, or Emily (Cox) Mattheyer. You may also mail your request and payment to EHSAA, Box 212, Ellis, KS. The cost is $20, but if you would like a cookbook mailed to you the cost is $24 dollars. Make checks payable to EHSAA.
