Vivian Delores (Maffitt) Bickerstaff of Wilson, formerly of Savannah, 
MO, went to be in the arms of the Lord on April 13, 2020, at the age of 
78. She was born on July 7, 1941 to Donald and Marietta Irene (Mitchell)
 Maffitt in Graham, MO.


Vivian received her nursing degree in 1962 from Methodist Hospital 
and Medical Center School of Nursing in St. Joseph, MO. She worked as an
 RN at Heartland Health working in Labor, Delivery, and Nursery. She was
 a woman of Christian faith and cared more for others than herself as 
evidenced by her profession from which she retired. 


Vivian is survived by two children, Lori (Keith) Speer, and Bruce 
(Alyssa) Bickerstaff II; 6 grandchildren, Alex, Bruce III “Trey”, 
Quintin, Alissa, Lillian, and Hosanna; one great-grandchild, Hazel; and 
sisters, Donna Maffitt and Pamela (Dave) Sorenson, both of Missouri.


She is preceded in death by her parents, Donald and Irene; 
daughters, Sherri Laney &amp; Patricia Bickerstaff; and brother, C.C. 
Maffitt.


Family services will be held at a later date.
