Russell doctor to discuss coronavirus on 'Doctors on Call'

BUNKER HILL – Doctors on Call, a local production of Smoky Hills PBS, will feature Dr. Tyrel Somers of Russell Regional Hospital and focus on the topic of coronavirus.  This episode will air Tuesday at 7 p.m.

“This special edition of Doctors on Call will be a great chance for our viewers to learn more about the current pandemic, said Larry Calvery, general manager of Smoky Hills PBS. "Not only to learn more, but also ask questions that pertain to our area in central and western Kansas.”

Doctors on Call is a program that provides medical information on a variety of different topics. Medical professionals from throughout the state travel to Bunker Hill to provide information and answer questions from the viewing audience. The doctors selected each week have expertise in the topic chosen for that program. 

Questions can be called in during the show or emailed prior to the broadcast.
