Osborne Co. reports first coronavirus case

OSBORNE - The Osborne County Health Department has announced the first case of coronavirus disease (COVID-19) in Osborne County, in a news release late Thursday afternoon from Carla Mans, RN administrator.

The case involves a female over age 60 with recent out-of-state travel.

The Osborne County Health Department is working to identify any close contacts of the individual and those who were exposed will be contacted as soon as possible.

They will be monitoring these contacts for fever and respiratory symptoms.

No further information about the patient will be released.
