TREGO COUNTY— Two people were injured in an accident just before 1:30a.m. Monday in Trego County.
The Kansas Highway Patrol reported a 2005 Ford Taurus driven by Clinton W. Rogers, 34, Hoisington, was westbound on Interstate 70 five miles west of the Kansas 23.
The Ford traveled off the road into the median. The driver overcorrected to the right. The Ford struck the south guardrail, rotated 180 degrees and ended on all 4 wheels facing north.
EMS transported Rogers and a passenger Shanail A. Steward, 45, Colby, to Gove County Medical Center. Both were properly restrained at the time of the accident, according to the KHP.
