LOGAN COUNTY— Three people were injured in an accident just after 3p.m. Sunday in Logan County.
The Kansas Highway Patrol reported a 2009 Toyota passenger vehicle driven by Christie R. Lacey , 27, Chicago, was eastbound on U.S. 40 five miles west of U.S. 83.
The driver lost control of the vehicle, entered the south ditch, overcorrected back onto the roadway and struck a 2012 Mazda passenger vehicle driven by Mary Kathleen Magley, 60, Monument head-on.
EMS transported Lacey, Magley and a passenger in the Mazda Wayne F. Magley, 61, Oakley, to the Logan County Hospital. All three were properly restrained at the time of the accident, according to the KHP.
