Holy Family sets times for parents to pick up student belongings

Holy Family announced on Facebook that it will open the school today for parents to pick up their students' personal items. 

Parents are asked to follow a schedule for pick up based on their students' last names. They ask parents not to come at alternate times. The school has scheduled the pick up times to keep the number of parents in classrooms to less than 10 people at a time.

11 a.m.-noon Last name begins with A-F

noon-1 p.m. Last name begins with G-L

4-5 p.m. Last name begins with M-R

5-6 p.m. Last name begins with S-Z

Procedures to Collect Student Materials...

We will welcome parents to collect their student's belongings on Wednesday, March 25th. Please read the following procedure very carefully!

First and foremost, DO NOT come up to Holy Family Elementary if you have any of the following conditions. We will make an alternative time to stop at HFE or drop items by your home.

Please stay home if you have...Traveled to a state with known widespread community transmission (currently California, Florida, New York and Washington state) on or after March 15. Visited Eagle, Summit, Pitkin and Gunnison counties in Colorado in the week prior to March 15 or after.Traveled on a cruise ship or river cruise on or after March 15. People who have previously been told by Public Health to quarantine because of their cruise ship travel should finish out their quarantine.Traveled internationally on or after March 15.Have a general feeling of being unwell.

Please observe the designated times for coming up to school. We have calculated the number of people who would potentially be in each classroom based on the first initial of their last name. If you are unable to come during the designated time we will schedule a different time for you or drop items by your home. Please do not choose a different shift. This has been carefully studied so that we stay within the gatherings of less than 10 criteria in the individual classrooms and school hallways.

Tracy Perrett and I will be stationed at the north and south entrances to the school and will monitor the number of people in the building and classrooms. If you need to stand in line, please observe the personal space of 6 feet while waiting. There will be hand sanitizer (or gloves if you have adverse reactions to hand sanitizer) available when you go into the building. Please make use of them before proceeding to the classroom. All doors will be propped open so that you will only need to touch your child's belongings in the classroom.
